WHERE TO EAT, DRINK AND STAY IN MONTE CARLO

1.) I’m not a drinker, so what tops my list as the best place to drink is arguably the most sophisticated Starbucks locations in the world. While sitting on the sun deck overlooking the Mediterranean and Côte d’Azur, it’s a great place for a quick break and reflection. I, personally, enjoy blonde roast with a dash of cinnamon and a pack of shortbread cookies is a guilty pleasure.
2.) My other suggestion for a place to kick your feet up with a drink is Cafe de Paris. This is also my top spot for people watching. As a designer I have a constant curiosity of how men are dressing and this is the ultimate insight into our core clientele. In respects to the cocktail, I go for their Colibri and club sandwich as a snack.
3.) My go-to food spot in Monte Carlo is La Maree - on top of what I consider the world’s greatest marina. I’m quite inspired by architecture in my design work, so its rather invigorating to see all the yachts and fascinating lines, details and try to sneak peak into the interiors as I enjoy my lunch or dinner. May I suggest their fritto misto to start, followed by either the salt baked Branzino or spaghetti with royal spiny lobster and finish it off with chocolate tart — now that’s meal you certainly won’t forget.
